About The Role

We are looking for a passionate and driven Operations Intern to join our engineering team. This three-month paid internship program offers a hands-on opportunity to work on real-world infrastructure challenges and cloud-based solutions while developing valuable DevOps skills. Outstanding performers in this internship will be considered for full-time employment upon successful completion of the internship.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in setting up and optimizing CI/CD pipelines to support rapid development and deployment.
• Support the configuration and integration of company products, including both functional and technical components such as APIs, web services, and transport protocols.
• Help troubleshoot issues affecting infrastructure performance, integrations, and system reliability.
• Contribute to ensuring 24/7 high availability of our platforms, including messaging, voice, and email gateways.
• Write and deploy automation scripts to streamline routine operational tasks across various environments.
• Maintain and update infrastructure documentation and monitoring tools within cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure).
• Collaborate with offshore teams and technology partners on a daily basis.
• Work closely with the engineering team to design and implement cloud-native solutions.
• Participate in the planning, development, and optimization of cloud-based applications.
• Support the management of cloud environments in compliance with company security standards.
• Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to anticipate and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
• Review and suggest improvements for existing systems, configurations and workflows.
• Learn and contribute to the development of best practices across the operations and cloud engineering teams.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of Linux system administration, networking, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to or interest in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience or coursework in Bash scripting, Python or other scripting languages.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
